01 · Before you book
You're doing everything right. Your energy just didn't get the memo.
You can excel at work, hold a household together, and keep everyone else's world on track, but your own health keeps sliding to the bottom of a list that never ends. You've built a life that looks like it's working, but it's costing you more than you think.
If that sounds like you, you're in the right place. Grab a cuppa, and let's talk about what's actually going on.
A real conversation about what's actually going on, not a generic meal plan.
Sound familiar?
You're doing "everything right" on paper. It still isn't landing.
Who you'd be talking to
Emma Cook · Metabolic Dietitian & Strength Coach.
This isn't fitness-influencer advice. I'm a mum, dual-business owner and actually have the clinical training to assess and support your actual, whole, complicated life. What's even better is that my own transformation is evidence that I practice what I preach. Take a look below...
My own story started in the same place as a lot of my clients': extreme dieting, over-exercising, and a stress load I told myself was just "being busy." When I hit my own wall, I couldn't find anyone who looked at food, training and mental health as one connected picture. Trainers glorified training. Dietitians looked at food alone. Doctors wanted to medicate the stress. So I spent 13 years and two Monash degrees becoming the practitioner I actually needed back then.
Not just a fitness coach
When medication, hormones, gut issues or bloodwork are part of your story, they get handled properly. Clients have reviewed medication with their own doctor while working together: the coaching and the medical care move in the same direction, not opposite ones.
Collaborative, on purpose
Emma works alongside GPs and other practitioners rather than in place of them. Real problems get solved by the right people talking to each other, not by ignoring half the picture.
What actually changes
Here's the shift.
- Burnt out→Energised
- Diet cycles→Eating you don't have to think about
- Puffy & inflamed→Regulated & glowing
- People-pleasing→Confident & assertive
- Chasing your tail→Actually in charge of your health
Is this you?
This is for you if...
- You're ready for focused daily action, not waiting for motivation to show up.
- You can commit 20–60 minutes a week to yourself, non-negotiably.
- You want systems that last, not another temporary fix.
Real results
If you want to see it, not just read it.
Highly sought-after business owner in her 30s, working big hours and wanting her body to match her mind: boosting daily performance and confidence.
Corporate powerhouse juggling big days and the challenges of endometriosis. She wanted to improve her inflammation, body composition and confidence in her clothes, and along the way, got engaged and had the wedding of her dreams, looking absolutely stunning.
Working mum of three, needing more daily energy to get through shift work as a nurse and manage the stress that comes with it. She built a strong, resilient body training from home.
Self-employed nutritionist and coach who needed to learn how to support her health by doing less, not more. Previously hooked on being busy, her stress and workload routinely burned her out and drove fat storage. Now she's thriving in her body and her life.
Previously deflated, working mum of two who needed a minimalist but effective approach to health in every area. A system built around her real life let her prioritise her needs, stay consistent, and get results while showing up for work and family every day.
Two years. Nearly 30kg. One line that matters more than both.
"The biggest outcome wasn't the weight loss."
Wendy, client of 2 years
Before
Pilates a few times a week, walking, cycling: outwardly, the picture of "healthy." But her nutrition wasn't supporting any of it. A previous nutrition professional left her more confused than informed. Underneath the routine: barely eating all day, then eating a lot at night, telling herself it balanced out.
The shift
Every conversation, Emma asked about sleep, stress and energy before food. They started at maintenance calories, which felt like a huge amount at first. Instead of gaining weight, she got more consistent, more energised, and lost weight anyway. Eating enough turned out to be what gave her the capacity to train, socialise and actually live.
Now
She recognised, without judgement, that she'd been using food to self-soothe, and learned to meet those moments with curiosity instead. She eats comfortably in social situations, tunes out diet noise because she trusts what works for her, and has run her business and moved cities twice on the foundation this built.
"Be ready to learn. Emma will teach you, guide you, and explain why things matter, but you're still the person who has to show up for yourself."

Six more, in their own words
Different starting points. Same underlying pattern.
Chelsea
Client
Obsessive reactive eating to manage stress: a habit that stuck around long after the stress did. Tried to fix it alone. Couldn't.
Systems for energy, sleep and accountability instead of white-knuckling it. Training for the Ballarat half marathon.
"Running made me love life again."
Denise
Client
Significant weight gained during lockdown, couldn't fit her own clothes, no knowledge of nutrition or training, and antidepressants that weren't shifting how she felt about herself.
Daily training, real nutrition education, a visible transformation head to toe, and her medication reviewed with her own doctor alongside the work, not instead of it.
"I've grown so much as a person... it shaped me into this better version of myself."
Georgia
Client
30kg gained across two pregnancies, stuck in an endless calorie deficit, plus brain fog, hair loss and mood swings.
Symptoms eased within weeks. A sustainable routine and "meal skeleton" replaced the deficit mindset entirely.
"I'm honestly feeling like me again."
Chelsey
Client
Constant fatigue and stress, trying to do it all: career, relationships, supporting family through illness, with no real structure underneath any of it.
Real structure: protein, journalling, planning that actually holds. Finished a PhD and moved countries twice without burning out. Found running, completed her first half marathon.
"A huge difference in my energy levels and ability to put energy into multiple areas of my life."
Jemma
Client
Past coaches pushed extreme deficits and daily cardio regardless of her concerns, and told her to push through when she raised them.
Hormonal symptoms easing, a rebuilt relationship with food and training, and objectives that moved past the scale entirely.
"You really listened, and almost reset my mind on how I viewed eating, training and life."
Jessie
Client
"Stumbled across this old photo from 2.5 years ago and barely recognised myself. Amazing what a bit of balance in life can do. Couldn't have done it without your support."
What's yours going to say?
Seven different women, seven different starting points, the same underlying thing: capacity, structure, and someone who looked at the whole picture instead of just the scale.
The actual point of difference
This was never just about macros.
Every woman above tried something before this. What was different wasn't willpower: it was finally having someone look at the whole picture.
Sleep, stress and energy come first
Food is downstream of what's actually happening in your life. Every plan starts with the bigger picture, not a calorie target.
Working alongside your GP, not around them
When medication, hormones or bloodwork are part of the picture, they're handled with the practitioners already treating you, not ignored, not guessed at.
Built for years, not a 6-week reset
Some of these women have been working with Emma for three months. Some for three years. The approach is the same either way: sustainable, not a sprint.
Concerns get heard, not overridden
No pushing through, no ignoring what you already know about your own body. If something's not working, the plan changes, not you.
Who this isn't for: Emma doesn't work with clients seeking clinical eating disorder treatment, acute mental health support, or purely aesthetic outcomes. If that's what you need, a strategy call will be honest about that too, and point you toward the right kind of support.
What working together actually looks like
Restore. Build. Excel.
Restore
Rebuild the foundations: sleep, nervous system regulation, and a way of eating that actually fits your life, before anything else is layered on.
Build
Once the foundation holds, structure goes in: training, routine, and the systems that make consistency feel automatic instead of effortful.
Excel
Performance becomes the natural consequence, not the thing you're chasing: capacity for your career, your family, and the parts of life you actually want back.
Both paths run through the same Restore → Build → Excel framework: the difference is pace and depth of support.
